Zygoma Implants

Zygomatic implants, commonly called ‘Zygoma,’ are dental implants that cross into the weak area of your upper jaw and attach into the bottom of the cheekbones through your sinuses, providing an alternative to bone grafting operations in the upper jaw. These implants are put from within your mouth into the back area of your jaw and can be coupled with one or more traditional (root form) implants in the front.

Two (one on each side) or four (two on each side) implants are used to support full or partial dental bridges, depending on the demands of the patient.

When conducted by Specialist Surgeons who are trained in the technique, the treatment is safe and predictable. As a day stay operation, the procedure is performed under anaesthesia and a full set of immediate teeth can be connected to the implants on the same day of surgery.
